Was looking more for cottage garden style. But this book gave me a wonderful history of the cottage style home throughout England. Building materials, archtectural style, application of local materials, and living conditions made it very interesting. The pictures were idealized but beautiful. Very enjoyable book.Product details

It would have been much better if the dust jacket accompanied the book but it was missing. The book itself is a lovely book but I would have been much happier if it had its clothes on.
This book had an odor but I truly enjoy the book and its photos were excellent.
